Day 12. Tintagel to Port Isaac

When I got off the bus at Tintagel I couldn't help noticing this employment opportunity in the window of a shop called Luna Orbis.

The coast path runs past the entrance to the castle that seemed to be under a German invasion.
Five minutes away from town the path is empty and the scenery was brilliant.
Trebarwith Strand looked lovely and the pub looked very inviting but I knew I had a lot of ground to cover today.

Then I came to Jacket's Point that is apparently the deepest and steepest of all the valleys, just what I needed on this long hot day.
There's no habitation between Trebarwith and Port Gaverne, just lots of deep valleys, high cliffs and stunning scenery.

It took an age to reach Port Isaac and I had no time to have a look around before a convoluted bus journey back and a further three miles from the bus stop to the campsite.
